Two-Day Living History Experience

March 26 - March 28

🔥 After a long wait… it’s finally happening in Columbia.

Internationally known historian Joseph McGill Jr., founder of The Slave Dwelling Project, is coming to the University of South Carolina for a powerful two-day living history experience.

For over a decade, McGill has traveled across the country sleeping in preserved slave dwellings to honor the lives, stories, and resilience of the enslaved. What began as a personal act of remembrance has grown into a national movement of reflection, truth-telling, and dialogue.

Now the experience comes to Columbia, South Carolina.
